It was late July this year when I called Nick and said, “I want this to be the best Christmas of our whole lives!” I want it all! The glowing Christmas lights, marshmallows in hot chocolate, watching The Grinch with Ruth and The Cousins, and the newest addition this year: baby snuggles with new baby brother! There’s absolutely nothing like this glowing, warm, joyful season and I intend to enjoy every second!

A blind eye to unethical working conditions, human slavery, and more. That’s why we started our own retail store - so we could have some control over which brands we work with. We only work with companies that can guarantee safe, ethical conditions for their workers. It matters so much to us, because God did not call us to turn a blind eye to injustices!
As many people are passionate about giving back during the holiday seasons, we have gathered a few organizations that are actively fighting the human slavery and trafficking issue worldwide. If you are able and called, we welcome you to look into how you can partner with the below organizations in solving the problem. SOS INTERNATIONAL
SOS International’s primary goal is to support and help at-risk children. They aim to set standards of care in each community so that children are receiving the highest level of protection. This organization also works to bring food and water to children in need, so they can become happy and healthy adults.

A21 is an organization focused on ending human trafficking and modern day slavery. They tailor their strategy based on the needs of each community they serve. In addition to education and awareness efforts, they also offer child advocacy centers, anonymous hotlines, legal assistance, and after care services to aid in saving and rehabilitating victims of human trafficking.
FREE THE SLAVES
Free the Slaves is an organization that focuses on ending modern day slavery all over the world. They are actively working with survivors, in at-risk communities, and with policymakers to bring about lasting change. Since launching, they’ve helped free over 16,000 people from slavery!
